Indepth Tutorial - How 2 Report Hackers!

- Part 1 -
Recordings

1. Record the hacker by presing F11.
2. Go to "Replay" in lobby and look for the recording with the evidence in it. [Remember the number of the recrording such as "Gunz025"]
3. Go to "Start" on desktop then open "My Documents"
4. In My documents, open up the folder "TheDuel" [This Folder is not yet to be determined since client isn't out yet]
5. Open the folder "Replay"
6. Look for the .gzr file and match the names of it with the one in game [remember #2]
7. Copy and paste the .gzr file to your desktop
8. Go to a file sharing site such as

Mediafire
RapidShare
SendSpace
MegaUpload
FileFront
4Shared
FileFactory

9. Upload the .gzr file with the site you chose [remember the .gzr file is on your desktop]
10. Once it is 100% uploading, it will give you a download link.
11. Create a hacker report thread in the Hacker/Report section in UnHoly Gunz Forums
12. Copy and paste the download link on to the thread.
13. Finish up by adding in the Hacker's in game name [ign], what hacks he used, and etc..
14. Press the send button at the bottom and you're set.
15. Wait 10 minutes for the hacker to be banned and the thread to be locked [depends how long it takes for a moderator to read the thread and watch the replay]

- Part 2 -
ScreenShots

1. Take a Screen Shot of the hacker by pressing F12.
2. Go to "Start" on desktop then open "My Documents"
3. In My documents, open up the folder "The Duel" [This folder isn't to be determined yet since the client is not out]
4. Open the folder "Screenshots"
5. Look for the .jpg file that you have taken of the hacker [view the files by double clicking on them]
6. Copy and paste it the .jpg to your desktop
7. Go to a picture sharing site such as

PhotoBucket
ImageShack
TinyPic

8. Upload the .jpg file with the site you chose [remember the .jpg file is on your desktop]
9. Once it is 100% uploading, it will give you several links to the image.
10. [If there is an img link] copy it. If not just copy the direct link.
11. Create a hacker report thread in the Hacker/Report section in UnHoly Gunz Forums
12. Copy and paste the img link on to the thread. If you paste the direct link, enclose it with Indepth Tutorial — How To Report Hackers
13. Finish up by adding in the Hacker's in game name [ign], what hacks he used, and etc..
14. Press the send button at the bottom and you're set.
15. Wait 10 minutes for the hacker to be banned and the thread to be locked [depends how long it takes for a moderator to read the thread and ban the user]

---

Once the hacker has been reported, it's not an open discussion for people to talk about the hacker and post. Once the thread is made, let the staff make the decision and/or the reporter to reply if necessary. No one else's posts are needed.

.jpg = a .JPEG file
.gzr = a GunzReplay file

Recordings are more reliable since you can actually see the user using the hacks.
As for screen shots, you can't really tell if the user is using hacks or not, except for sometimes with lawnmower and insane massives. Some hacks that are hard to distinguish that one user as a hacker would be tofu spam, message bots, godmode, and speed hacks.

Screen shots are easier to work with and simple. Recordings are a little more complex to upload and download to view, just a little more time consuming.

Most of the file hosting sites don't require an account to be registered to upload a file.
The image hosting websites don't require account registration except for photobucket. I use photobucket, because it's easy and fast.

Hope this helped.
